Dr. Aruna completed her MBBS and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India in the year 2000 and 2003 respectively. She further completed DNB from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, India in 2003 and also holds MNAMS from National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, India.
Dr. Aruna has a total experience of over 12 years and spent 7 years in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at AIIMS, New Delhi, India which is a tertiary referral center with subspecialties like high risk pregnancy, fetal medicine, reproductive medicine, minimally invasive surgery, urogynaecology and gynae- oncology.
She is skilled in conducting normal delivery, vaginal breech and instrumental delivery (forceps, vacuum), caesarean sections; management of high risk pregnancy, molar pregnancy, ectopic pregnancy (medical, surgical); abdominal, vaginal, nondescent vaginal hysterectomy, tuboplasty, recanalisation, myomectomy; diagnostic laparoscopy-capable of adhesiolysis, tubal ligation, salpingectomy, ovarian cystectomy; diagnostic hysteroscopy; workup and management of infertility and is well versed with protocols of both regular and emergency contraception and basic Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
She has more than 10 publications under her name and has presented many topics in different national and international forums. She has also been associated with many research studies.
