Sara Omer Elsadig completed her Bachelor Degree in Dietetics in 2012 from United Arab Emirate University. After completing her Bachelor degree, she completed half year post graduate Internship in AHS (Ambulatory Health Services) - Outpatient clinics. She provided nutrition assessment, intervention and counseling to patients on a wide range of issues including weight management, high blood pressure control, Diabetes and cardiac related issues.
As a part of that she participated at various community nutrition events. Also, she did a lot of volunteer works in order to increase the public awareness about nutrition and health. She completed many professional courses to upgrade her knowledge such as Dietary management of renal patients, sport nutrition, diabetes mellitus and endocrine disorders.
She worked in private Nutrition Center as a Dietitian. Then she joined NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Ain as a Clinical Dietitian on 2016, where she was assessing patient nutritional needs, and providing an individualized diet plan based on their nutritional needs and requirements for many conditions such as Diabetes, Gastrointestinal disorders, weight management, Bariatric surgery, kidney disorders, liver diseases and cardiac diseases. Sara's main goal is to promote good health through proper nutrition and healthy lifestyle.
She can fluently speak Arabic and English.
