Ms. Amritha Krishnan Potty completed her Graduation and Masters in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from University of Kerala in India and is a licensed (MOH) Speech and Language Therapist. She is a registered Rehabilitation professional by the Rehabilitation Council of India and a Life Member of Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA). She has over 5 years of experience working with individuals with complex communication needs across the lifespan. These clinical experiences includes conducting assessments and therapies for children and adults in schools,hospitals, rehabilitation centres,clinics and vocational settings.
Her area of interest includes Paediatric speech and language disorders. Her services include assessment and therapy services for children with various disorders such as: Developmental delay, Autism, Spectrum Disorder, Speech-Sound Disorder/Misarticulation, Stuttering/Stammering, Voice disorders, Dysphagia, Specific Learning Disability, Cleft Lip and Palate, Intellectual Disability, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Children with Cochlear Implant/Hearing aids, Syndromic conditions like Down’s Syndrome etc.
She is also experienced in the assessment and management of disorders in both Adult and Geriatric population such as: Aphasia ( Stroke, Dementia, Traumatic Brain Injury etc), Motor Speech Disorders ( Dysarthria, Parkinson’sDisease Multiple Sclerosis ), Stuttering/ Stammering, Voice disorders, Dysphagia, Adults with Cochlear Implant/Hearing Aids.
She speaks English, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi.
