Ms Katheeja has completed Master’s Degree in Dietetics and Food Service Management followed by Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nutrition from Harvard Medical Int’l Associated Institute. She also completed Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Anna Adarsh College.



Ms Katheeja has over 9 years of experience in the Middle East. She has worked in a premier healthcare organization in Dubai assisting over 240 centres & a million patients with dietary related issues. She was a Clinical Dieitian trainee in Sri Ramachandra University in India.



Ms Katheeja’s areas of expertise includes:




  • Calculating and planning diet for different calorie requirement.

  • Diet counselling for various therapeutic conditions.

  • Group consultation with other health professionals.

  • Follow-up & recording client progress.

  • Documentation of client data and progress.



Ms Katheeja has attended several international & national conferences including Presentation on Hypertension related Obesity at VLCC – Dubai, Clinical case presented on Alcoholic Hepatitis”, Seminar Presented on “Access and Mode of feeding Enteral Nutrition” in Sri Ramachandra University.



Ms Katheeja has submitted journal presentation on “Comparison of home- based therapy with ready to use therapeutic food with standard therapy in the treatment of malnourished Malawian children” an indexed article published in the International Nutrition Journal. She is an active member of UAE Nutrition Group.



Ms Katheeja speaks English, Tamil & Malayalam.
