Mr. Ismail Shaikh completed his Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Pune, India and currently pursuing his MBA in Healthcare Management from Dr. D.Y. Patil University, Pune, India and his Fellowship of International Society of Quality in Healthcare (ISQua), UK.

He has more than 10 years’ experience in the field of Clinical Physiotherapist, service development, community health promotion and mentoring students in addition to healthcare management.

He was instrumental in establishing the Cardiac Rehabilitation department at Inamdar Multispecialty Hospital, Pune, India and voluntarily provided services as Sports Physiotherapist for several Pune Marathon's events as part of Indian Olympic Association Team.

Prior to joining NMC Healthcare, he has worked with private rehabilitation & medical center in Abu Dhabi, UAE as Head of Physiotherapy Department.

To his credit he has Fellowship in Orthopedic Rehabilitation from Apollo and Diploma in Football Medicine, FIFA. He is an active member of International Society of Quality in Healthcare (ISQua) and has attended numerous conferences to keep himself updated with latest technologies and medical developments.

He is fluent in English, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati.
