Dr. Suvadip Chatterjee obtained MBBS from Christian Medical College and Hospital Ludhiana, India (1996) with multiple honors and distinctions. He was awarded the best outgoing intern (1997). He received MD (Doctor of Medicine with thesis) in Internal medicine from the same institute (2000).



Thereafter, he obtained super-specialty training in Gastroenterology from United Kingdom and was awarded Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Gastroenterology (2011). Dr Suvadip completed a therapeutic endoscopy fellowship at the Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK (2012) focusing on advanced therapeutic endoscopy, ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound. He is accredited by the Joint Advisory Group, UK as an independent therapeutic endoscopist.



Dr Chatterjee has worked in various prestigious university and tertiary care referral hospitals in United Kingdom during his training period from 2003 to 2011. He has several internal publications to his credit.



Dr. Suvadip was the clinical endoscopy lead at his earlier institution, Tata Medical Center, Kolkata, India which is a referral center for advanced endoscopy.



Currently, he is working in Al Zahra Hospital, Sharjah as consultant gastroenterologist and is the head of department.
