Dr. Sinha gained his undergraduate Medicine degree (MBBS) from University of Mumbai, India. After this, he completed his Neurology Residency from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine & Affiliated Hospitals, Spiringfield IL, USA, followed by Fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology & Epilepsy from Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA.  


Dr. Sinha has served as a faculty and Staff Neurologist at West Virginia School of Medicine, Morgantown, WV, USA. Prior to coming to UAE, Dr. Sinha worked at King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia as Neurology Staff and Director of Comprehensive Epilepsy Center.


Dr. Shobhit Sinha is Diplomate American Board (ABPN) in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology. He is also Fellow Royal College of Physician of Ireland (FRCPI). He is member of American Academy of Neurology and International League against Epilepsy faculty of 1000. Prior to moving to NMC Royal Hospital, Dr. Sinha worked at Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi for last 5 years. 


Dr. Sinha is actively involved in academics and research. He has presented at multiple international medical conferences, and has several peer-reviewed publications. He has also served as a reviewer for multiple Medical Journals. He is also examiner for Department of Health, Abu Dhabi, and Royal College of Physician of Ireland.


Dr. Sinha has special interest in treating adult patients with intractable Epilepsy, Stroke and degenerative brain diseases. He is also an expert in treating other neurological illnesses.
