Dr . Rahul Bansal did his MBBS from Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, India. Safadarjung Hospital is one of the biggest government run hospital in Asia with a bed strength of over 2000 beds and daily OPD attendance of over 8000 patients. It has been offering services for over past 70 years now.
Dr. Rahul moved to Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) and associated Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi, India to pursue his MD in Internal Medicine. This is a tertiary care government hospital with bed strength of over 1400 beds and daily OPD attendance of over 5000 patients.
After doing his MD, he worked as Senior Resident in the department of medicine and then joined Fortis Hospital, New Delhi, where he learned and refined his Rheumatology skills under the guidance of Dr. Ashok Kumar. After a year, he again moved back to PGIMER, Delhi. There he joined as Senior Resident, Endocrinology and completed his 3 years in Endocrinology as a resident following which he was appointed as Assistant Professor Endocrinology as well at the same institute and hospital.
Dr. Rahul has published a number of papers related to Endocrinology and Rheumatology in peer review journal.
He has also obtained his SCE in Endocrinology and Diabetes from Royal College of Physicians UK in 2018. He is also a Member of American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
He has a total experience of 8 years of diagnosing and managing various general and complex Internal Medicine, Rheumatology and Endocrinology patients.
