Dr. Prithvi Priyadarshini
Dr. Prithvi completed her MBBS from Bangalore, India in 2005, MD in internal medicine with thesis in 2010, DNB in Gastroenterology from New Delhi in 2016, DM in Gastroenterology from M. S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore in 2015. She worked as a Consultant Gastroenterologist for over 3.5 years in Narayana multispeciality Hospital, Mysore, India.
Dr. Prithvi’s area of expertise are therapeutic endoscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, esophageal variceal and haemorrhoidal banding, stricture dilatation, stent placement, foreign body removal, ERCP, EUS, capsule endoscopy, enteroscopy, treatment of ulcer bleed, gastric or colonic malignancies/cancer, obesity- gastric balloon placement and paediatric related cases, treatment of irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, liver related : hepatitis B & C, cirrhosis of liver and its complication, liver abscess, hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatitis and its complications.
Dr. Prithvi has completed courses in advanced endoscopic ultrasound from Rome, Italy as well as bariatric endoscopic balloon placement and overstitch sleeve gastroplasty hands on workshop in dual theme international endoscopic conference in Pune, India in April 2019, POEM, ESD, EMR courses in Kochi and Bangalore and Fellowship in advanced endoscopy on ERCP and EUS in Meerut, India.
Dr. Prithvi is a member of American Society of Gastroenterology ASGE, Indian Society of Gastroenterology ISG, Indian Society of Association of Liver INASL and Association of Physicians of India API.
Dr. Prithvi has attended many International and National Conferences like ISGCON, INASL. She has presented a paper on endoscopic band ligation in bleed patients in Asia Pacific association of Liver Conference – APASL held in CHINA in 2017. Dr. Prithvi was the speaker in International endoscopic conference held in Abu Dhabi in December 2018. She has also published multiple case reports and original articles in esteemed Gastroenterology journals.
