Dr. Muhammad Farhan Khan did his MBBS from Khyber Medical College Peshawar Pakistan in 2009. He completed his Postgraduate (FCPS) training in Neurology from College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan in 2016 and attained his fellowship degree FCPS Neurology in December 2016. He has also done minifellowship in Movement Disorders from University of Nebraska USA in December 2018. He also completed Multiple Sclerosis Preceptorship Program from Neurology department Istanbul University, Cerrahpasa School of Medicine in October 2019.
Experience: Dr.Muhammad Farhan Khan has worked as a postgraduate resident in Tertiary Care Hospital Islamabad Pakistan from 2013 to 2016. During his training he served as Chief Resident Neurology, and he had the privilege to be the resident who gave the first IV tPA to acute ischemic stroke patient in the northern region of Pakistan. He then worked as a Senior fellow neurology from January 2017 to June 2018 in Tertiary Care International Hospital Islamabad Pakistan, which is a JCI accredited hospital. He then served as Assistant Consultant Neurologist in the same hospital from June 2018 to December 2019. Later he served as Associate Consultant Neurologist in the same hospital from December 2019 to December 2021. He is experienced in handling neurological emergencies like acute stroke, seizures, status epilepticus, GBS, headaches, myasthenic crisis and Tranverse myelitis. He is well versed in treating patients with neurological problems like myasthenia, multiple sclerosis, parkinson’s disease, headache, epilepsy, stroke, neuromuscular disorders and dementia in IPD and OPD.
