Dr. Haytham completed Bachelors in Medicine and Surgery, Diploma of Paediatrics, MSc in General Surgery and MD in General Surgery from Kasr Alainy School of Medicine Cairo University. Dr. Haytham has also completed Intercollegiate  Membership of  The Royal  college of Surgeons of Ireland (IMRCS).



Dr. Haytham has over 29 years of experience in the Middle East as a Consultant Paediatric Surgery in several prominent hospitals like Abo El riesh Children’s Specialized Hospital, Naser Institute Hospital, Suiz Hospital, Alzytoun Hospital in Egypt, Dr.Soliman Fakih Hospital Jeddah, King Khaled University Hospital and King Fahed Armed Hospital, KSA.



Dr. Haytham’s areas of expertise includes,




  • Inguinoscrotal anomalies (inguinal hernia, hydrocele & undescended testis)

  • Umbilical hernia & anomalies

  • Anorectal malformation & Hirschsprung’s disease

  • Cervical swelling & anomalies 

  • Neonatal surgery & Hypospadias

  • Cleft lip & Cleft palate 



Dr. Haytham is a member of several international membership including Egyptian Society of Paediatric Surgery, Cofounder and member of Saudi Scientific Paediatric Surgery Association, Arab Paediatric Surgery Association and Egyptian Association of Hypospadius and Penile Surgery (EHAPS).



Dr. Haytham has several Research activities and publications to his credit, the latest being Early Outcome of Transanal Rectal excision within the Fascia Propria for Treatment of Hirsch sprung Disease ( Manuscript Accepted ) Ann. of Paediatric Surgery 2018.



Dr. Haytham speaks Arabic and English.
