Dr. Haiju Chirayath obtained his Endocrinology training at the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism; which is part of Oxford University.
He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Manchester, after researching diabetes in pregnancy at the largest maternal-fetal health lab in Europe. Dr. Haiju completed both his MSc and Post-Graduate Diploma in Diabetes and Endocrinology from the University of London. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP-UK) in London and also holds the Specialist Certificate Examination qualification in Endocrinology from the Royal College.
He has over 20 years of international medical experience and has also worked as an Endocrinology consultant in both UK and Canada. He was head of the Department of Endocrinology at Kelowna General Hospital, Canada and was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Endocrinology at the University of British Columbia.
He has created his website to help patients successfully manage their Endocrine disorders such as weight gain and diabetes. Dr. Haiju has written a book entitled “Review of Diabetic Neuropathy” which was published in Germany. He has spoken at many international conferences such as the American Diabetes Association conference in Washington DC and has also published numerous research articles in the field of Diabetes and Endocrinology.
