Dr. Badr has obtained his Medical Degree from Komensky University, Medical faculty, Czechoslovakia and he obtained Arab Board Specialization in Psychiatry in 2003.

Dr. Badr has 25 years of extensive clinical experiences in diagnosing, treating mental illnesses such as depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, bipolar affective disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, psychotic disorders, substances and alcohol abuse and dependency.

He was appointed as Clinical Adjunct Assistant professor in College of Medicine and Health Science of UAE University since 2009 and he was actively involved in teaching medical students and interns.

Dr. Badr contributed in research projects in collaboration with members of the Academic Department of College of Medicine and Health Science, UAE University. He has conducted in association with the college of Medicine several research works ended up by several publications.

He was appointed as core faculty in psychiatric residency program from 2012 till the end of June, 2015.

Dr. Badr was the consultant in-charge of Behavioral Science Institute of Al Ain Hospital inpatient unit from the period 2012 to 2015 and he was the lead consultant of the Community mental Health Services in Behavioral Science Institute of Al Ain hospital for several years till the end of June, 2015.

Dr. Badr is fluent in Arabic and English.
