Education: Dr. Anwar completed his MBBS in AIMC Lahore University of Punjab, his MS (Anaesthesiology) from PGMI Lahore University of Punjab, and his MCPS (Anaesthesiolgy) from the College of Physicians & Surgeons, Pakistan. In 2001, Dr. Anwar moved to Ireland, completed specialized training in Anaesthesia, ICU & Pain, and acquired the FCARCSI and MSc (Medical professionalism in Anaesthesia). 

Dr. Anwar completed 6 months Pain Medicine fellow Registrar full training in SVUH Dublin, and Pain Module in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. He concluded ultrasound guided Regional preceptorship program in Toronto, Canada. 

Work Experience: Dr. Anwar trained and worked in Postgraduate Medical Institute Lahore & Sheikh Zayed Hospital Lahore for MS Anaesthesia & MCPS. He also worked in Services Hospital Lahore as Senior Registrar and Consultant Anaesthetist (1995-2000).

Dr. Anwar trained and worked in Ireland (2001-2013) at well-known University Hospitals in Cork & Dublin, namely Mercy University Hospital Cork, Cork University Hospital Cork, South Infirmary Victoria University Hospital, Kerry General Hospital Tralee, Bon Secours Hospital Cork, St Vincent University Hospital Dublin, Beumont Hospital Dublin & OLHSC Crumblin Dublin.  Worked as Consultant Anaesthetist in Kerry General Hospital Tralee Ireland, Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore, and South Tipperary Hospital Clonmel. His special interest is in Pain Management.

Dr. Anwar is registered with MC Ireland, GMC (UK), and MOH UAE.  He has several national and international publications.
