Dr. Alaa is an experienced female surgeon with over 10 years of expertise in laparoscopic surgery and general surgery. During these 10 years, she has performed numerous open and laparoscopic surgeries. She is also a member of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (MRCS) since 2012.



Dr. Alaa obtained her MBBS degree from University of Khartoum – Sudan in 2008 and completed her internship training in Khartoum. She was selected to continue her residency training under Sudanese Medical specialization Board, where she had undergone extensive training in managing a wide variety of surgical cases.



Dr. Alaa has previously worked in the Security Forces Hospital in Dammam, Saudi Arabia as a Senior Specialist for 2 years, followed by 5 years as a senior Specialist in Khartoum North Teaching Hospital in Khartoum, Sudan.



She is specialized in open and laparoscopic surgeries and handling emergency cases. Her special areas of interest are thyroid surgeries, gall bladder and hernia surgeries amongst many.
