Dr. Abdul Rahman Agha El Kinge received his Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery from then completed his postdoctoral studies in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Hematology / Oncology at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He was trained in Breast Cancer under the mentorship of Professors in MD Anderson Cancer Center, USA. He is also certified by the European Society of Medical Oncology.
He has vast experience in the field of hematology and medical oncology of over 14 years in the Middle East, where he was acting head of oncology / hematology department for 7 years. He has served patients involved with all types of solid cancerous tumors and hematological malignancies. He has special interest in benign hematology management specially related to coagulopathy and Cancer related Thrombosis.
Dr. El Kinge’s areas of expertise includes:
- Early, Advanced and metastatic Breast cancer
- Gastrointestinal, Lung, pancreatic biliary and genito-urinary cancers management and chemotherapy
- Lymphoma and hematologic malignancies management and chemotherapy
- Vast experience in targeted, molecular and immunotherapy
He has a special interest in quality of care and has served as Assistant Quality Director from 2016 till 2017. He received the award for Best Performance Doctor for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018. He has initiated and supervised Venous Thrombo - Embolism Prophylaxis Program, with a special focus on cancer-related thrombosis.
Dr. El Kinge is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with Al Faisal University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he also served as the Deputy Program Director of the Internal Medicine for Residency Training Program at the Specialized Medical Center Hospital.
Dr. El Kinge is on the editorial board and a reviewer for multiple international medical journals.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is a member of the American and European societies for medical oncology and hematology. He has multiple peer-reviewed publications.
