Dr. Abd El Kader
Dr. Abd El Kader obtained his medical degree from Assiut University, School of Medicine, Egypt in 1975. After he completed an exceptional 3 years residency at ophthalmology department, Assiut University hospital, Egypt, he completed his master degree in ophthalmology in 1982.
Dr. Abd El Kader worked as a clinical demonstrator at ophthalmology department, Assiut university from 1980 to 1982. Then became an assistant lecturer and teaching assistant at Assiut, Minia and Cairo university hospitals from 1982 till 1992 when he obtained his doctorate degree (MD degree) of ophthalmology and moved to Minia university to work as a lecturer of ophthalmology.
In 1997, Dr Abd El Kader became an associate professor at Minia university, and in 2002 he became a professor of ophthalmology. In 2004, he moved to UAE and worked as consultant `A` and Head of ophthalmic department, Saqr Hospital, RAK. Dr Abd El Kader is the former head of ophthalmology department, RAK medical and health sciences university, faculty of medicine from 2007 till 2012 the time he started working as consultant A at Royal Medical center, RAK, UAE.
With more than 40 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology, Dr Abd El Kader joined NMC in November 2017. Dr Abd El Kader is fluent in Arabic and English.
