Dr Wissam Jamal Altamr is a distinguished Consultant Paediatric Surgeon and Paediatric Urologist with over 13 years of invaluable experience in the Paediatric surgical domain.
Dr Wissam obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Damascus University, followed by a Master's in Paediatric Surgery and Urology from the same institution, alongside certifications from the Syrian Board in Paediatric Surgery, the European Board in Paediatric Surgery, the European Board of Paediatric Urology, and the Arab Board in Paediatric Surgery.
Highly proficient and deeply experienced, Dr Wissam specializes in an extensive array of Paediatric surgical and urological procedures, encompassing both major and minor operations, including laparoscopic and open surgeries.
His expertise extends to comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents up to 14 years of age, encompassing minimal invasive surgery, neonatal surgery, Paediatric thoracic surgery, Paediatric urology, Paediatric GI surgeries, and Paediatric plastic surgeries such as cleft lip and palate repair.
Beyond his clinical endeavours, Dr Wissam serves as an adjunct assistant professor at both the University of Shariah and Damascus University.
