Certified Bariatric Nutritionist from University of Sunderland, London, UK, and licensed under Dubai Health Authority (DHA) with over 7 years of experience in the field in India and United Arab Emirates.
Ms. Syeda Shifain is a life member of the Indian Dietetic Association (IDA), India. She has a regular media and public speaking experience. She collaborated with over 50+ corporates to deliver engaging and informative health talks on various nutrition topics to employees, addressing topics such as healthy eating at work, eating habits during work from home due to pandemic and maintaining energy levels throughout the day. She is a guest speaker on radio- Akashwani, (All India radio) offering expert insights on nutrition, diet trends and healthy lifestyle choices. Demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate nutrition related information to diverse audiences, fostering greater understanding and awareness of healthy eating practices. The most popular one was promoting health and wellness for school children during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has a positive listener feedback and increased audience engagement on radio segment. She has published health tips in Newspaper (Star of Mysore)’s health and wellness section, regularly, conducted healthy cooking competitions for working dietitians and hospital staffs. She was a speaker for critical care nutrition for ICU doctors and trained nursing staff. She also, uses enteral commercial formulas for working dietitians and dietetic interns of Mysore university. A guest speaker for “Commercial Enteral formula MNC brand” on the topic “Approach of dietitian in hospital. She carried out Investigation on "The Assessment of Anthropometric and nutritional status of patients undergoing haemodialysis. She has trained over 30+ students-dietetic interns from University of Mysore, University of Mangalore and JSS University, successfully. She has had the privilege of positively impacting the lives of numerous patients. Her approach centres on creating sustainable dietary habits that suit each individual's unique needs and preferences.
