Dr Sarah Youssef completed her bachelor’s degree (MBBS) from Tanta University, Egypt in 2007 followed by a Master of Obstetrics & Gynaecology in 2014 from the same university. She is qualified as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (MRCOG). In addition, she has a Fellowship in minimal access surgeries (world association of laparoscopic surgeons). Dr Sarah built up leadership experience in quality improvement programs as well.



Dr Sarah brings along an overall 15 years of experience. Prior to joining NMC, she was working with NMC Royal Khalifa city Hospital for several years.  She also served as a Specialist in OBG in various well-known hospitals in Egypt.

  • Antenatal care and management of early pregnancy disorders.

  • Management of high-risk pregnancies.

  • Normal vaginal delivery and caesarean sections.

  • Minimal invasive surgery and hysteroscopy diagnostic and operative.

  • Recurrent pregnancy loss management.

  • Diagnosis and Management of infertility cases.

  • Repair of genital tract prolapse after multiple deliveries.

  • Ultrasound examination for obstetric and gynaecological problem.

  • Contraception.

  • Gynaecological problems, Menstrual irregularities and PCOS.

  • Cervical pathology – screening and treatment including Colposcopy.

  • Treatment of common genital tract infections.

  • Cosmetic Gynaecology.



Dr Sarah speaks Arabic and English.
