Dr. Saleh Abdelkader completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and post-graduation in General Surgery from Ain Shams University, Egypt in 1987.
Dr. Saleh began his career as Resident General Surgery and continued to work as Assistant Lecturer and Specialist General Surgery at Ain Shams University. He continued as Lecturer - General Surgery in the same University and had worked as Assistant Professor - General Surgery and as Professor and Consultant General Surgery in the same university.
Dr. Saleh Abdelkader received his MRCS from the University of Edinburgh in October 2004 and MRCS of England in the year 2007.
Before joining NMC Speciality Hospital, Al Ain as Specialist General Surgery he worked as Specialist General Surgery at Al Ain Hospital for 9 years.
To his credit, Dr. Saleh Abdelkader has fellowship in Advanced Surgical Training and Hands On, March 2019 and in Advanced Laparoscopic Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery in November 2017. He had done Diagnostic basic course in Upper and Lower GIT Endoscopy and operative cholangiography and laparoscopic bile duct exploration.
Dr. Saleh Abdelkader is an active member in Egyptian Society of Surgery, Egyptian Society of Laparoscopic Surgery, and Egyptian Society of Bariatric Surgery.
Some of his Key achievements are Treatment of different varieties of elective and emergency general surgery diseases including laparoscopic surgery with high standard of profession, using modern instrumentation (laser, radio-frequency) in treatment of varieties of anorectal disease and varicose veins, Endocrine and breast surgery.
He had published his research papers in 34 international publications, and two book chapters. He had also received an award for excellent PHD thesis: Egyptian Syndicate Award for the year 1996.
His key areas of interests are Laparoscopic surgery, colorectal surgery, endocrine surgery and breast surgery.
Dr. Saleh speaks English and Arabic.
