
Dr. Raziya Adam Kadwa has graduated (MBBS) from Govt Medical College, Thrissur, and completed a master’s degree (MD) in Paediatrics from the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India. She further completed DM Paediatric Neurology (3-year program) from PGI Chandigarh. As a highly qualified child neurologist in Abu Dhabi, she offers specialized care for various neurological conditions. Recognized as a leading pediatric brain specialist in Abu Dhabi, she brings extensive training and experience in managing neurological and developmental disorders seen in newborns and children. Dr. Raziya is a neurology expert for children, offering comprehensive consultations and treatment plans tailored to each young patient’s needs. She is widely regarded as a trusted kids' neurological consultant in the region.
She is a fellow of the World Headache Society. She is trained in managing simple and complex neurological problems and developmental disorders seen in newborns and children.

- Early predictors of Cerebral palsy in children with birth asphyxia
- Sedation practices in children
- Sleep disorders in children

She has received the prestigious Fukuyama award (2015) and has presented scientific papers in various national and international conferences. She is also an active member of a nationwide multicentric study on the prevalence of sleep disorders in children. She is passionate about teaching and has been a faculty in various workshops and national conferences.
Dr. Raziya is currently a member of Paediatric Neurology (subchapter of IAP), International Child Neurology Association (ICNA), Association of Child Neurology (AOCN), and Young Epilepsy Society (YES).
She is an Editorial Board member of the Journal of Clinical Neurology and Neurosciences and a reviewer in many scientific journals.
She has contributed to the formulation of national guidelines of Social and Legal Aspects in Childhood Epilepsy (SOLACE) and national guidelines in the management of NCC.
