Dr. Pooja Agrawal has completed her Bachelors in Medicine & Surgery from Ajmer, University of Rajasthan, India followed by post-graduation in Pediatrics from Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital Jaipur. She has completed DNB Neonatology from the Kanchi Kamakoti CHILDS Trust Hospital, Chennai.



Dr. Pooja has over 14 years of experience in India in the field of Neonatology. She has worked with newborns in several prominent hospitals in New Delhi, Chennai and Pune. She is specialized in taking care of extremely sick babies who are premature and/or have difficulty in surviving.



Dr. Pooja’s areas of expertise includes




  • Sick neonatal management

  • Breast feeding, family centered care, perinatal care & NIDCAP based care

  • Extreme premature babies

  • All form of invasive and non-invasive ventilation

  • Babies with critical illness like asphyxia, sepsis, shock, surgical illness.

  • Practice kangaroo care and promotes breast feeding.

  • Antenatal counseling, guidance where required



Dr. Pooja has attended several national and international courses including NRP provider and BNCRP trainer, PALS, NEST- Neonatal Emergencies Simulation Team. Dr. Pooja is Life member of National Neonatal Forum. Dr. Pooja has many publications and has attended several conferences. She has been a faculty for advance ventilation in neonates (South Neocon), faculty DNB-FAT exam Pediatrics.



Dr. Pooja has organized many conferences, the most recent Pedicapsule Jan 2019 and conducted BNCRP in Feb 2020.



She has organized and successfully conducted many workshops for NRP training and breastfeeding.



Dr. Pooja speaks English, Hindi, Marathi and Tamil
