Dr. Mohamed Shusha is a General Practitioner with over nine years of experience in Critical Care Medicine with well-reputed hospitals, including Ministry of Health Hospital in Egypt Private Hospital in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Shusha completed his medical degree (MBChB) from Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2011. He has worked as an ICU resident for two years in Mansoura Insurance Hospital (General ICU & CCU) in Egypt and for 7 years as ICU RMO in Salamat General Hospital in Saudi Arabia. He participated in multiple events for community education and was instrumental in attaining CBAHI accreditation for the hospital. In addition, he was the Code Blue Team Leader and member of RRT (Rapid Response Team) in the same hospital.
He has attended many national and international conferences/scientific meetings. He has completed his BLS, ACLS and ATLS. In addition, he has completed the Australian Medical Council exam Part 1 (AMC) and eligible for medical registration in Australia and is a member of ESICM (European Society of Intensive Care Medicine).
He has immense experience managing critically ill patients, major accidents, and trauma patients with good hand skills in emergency procedures like intubation, central line insertion, chest tube insertion, CRRT dialysis, and critical care ECHO. He is also familiar with many anaesthetic drugs used in ER (sedatives, muscle relaxants). He is also experienced in dealing with critical cases of both CCU (myocardial infarction, pulmonary oedema, cardiac arrhythmia) & general ICU (head injuries, chest injuries, post-operative ICU care, ventilation, major burns, etc.
