Dr. Jalal Alshareef is a highly experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Abu Dhabi. He completed his bachelor’s degree (MBSS) from Damascus University, Syria, in 2008, followed by the Syrian Board of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2014. He furthered his expertise by completing Part II of the Arab Board certification of medical specializations in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the United Arab Emirates in 2018. Dr. Jalal also earned his Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery in 2018, establishing himself as a trusted Maternity and Women's Health Specialist in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Jalal is a member of several prestigious organizations, including the Middle East Fertilization Society (MEFS), the Society of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians in Syria, the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology, and the World Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons. He received the Gold Standard in Laparoscopy from Sharjah University, UAE, in 2019, and has completed a Master class in Mechanical Hysteroscopy from MIS Academy in 2017. He also holds an advanced certificate in Reproductive Medicine & IVF from Homerton University Hospital, England (2017).
Dr. Jalal’s career has been marked by his work in high-risk pregnancy management and his dedication as a High-risk Pregnancy Expert in UAE. He has extensive experience in high-risk pregnancies, complicated emergency cases, and his leadership in Post-partum Haemorrhage prevention and management, as well as national protocol for placenta previa, for the Ministry of Health, Syria.
During his residency years, Dr. Jalal gained significant experience in one of the most renowned fertility centers in the region, focusing on Assisted Reproduction and Foetal Medicine. He also worked as a resident doctor in the field of Reproductive Health Consultant in the UAE, specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of various gynecological conditions, including laparotomy surgery.
Upon arriving in the UAE, Dr. Jalal received a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery, including laparoscopic surgery, and worked for four years at Danat Al Emarat Hospital, assisting in and performing numerous laparoscopic gynaecological procedures. His leadership experience extends to roles such as Chief of Residents and resident teacher in the Syrian and Arab Board program, as well as heading the Women's Clinic and Emergency Department at Al Zahrawi Hospital in Syria and the Labour and Delivery Ward at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children in Abu Dhabi.
