Dr Ibrahim Badran
Dr. Ibrahim obtained his medical degree from the prestigious Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University-Egypt, in 2003. He completed his master’s degree in 2010, after finishing residency program in Demerdash Teaching Hospital. Dr. Badran is also a member of Royal college of paediatrics and child health-UK (MRCPH), after he obtained the degree in 2018. In 2020, he has been awarded a post graduate diploma in paediatric and child nutrition from Hochschule Munchen University, Germany.
Dr Badran has over 12 years of experience in neonatology in various gulf countries. Post completion of his medicine degree in paediatrics and neonatology in 2010, he moved to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to work for Dr. Suliman Fakeeh Hospital (Level 3 NICU) for 2 years as Neonatology resident. In 2012, he moved to Kuwait and joined MOH’s Maternity hospital (Biggest tertiary NICU in the region), working as neonatology registrar for 5 years. Prior to joining NMC Royal Hospital, He was working in NMC speciality Hospital as In-charge of NICU.
Dr. Badran’s areas of expertise include neonatal medicine, neonatal ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, neonatal transfers, management of ELBW babies and nutrition of term and preterm babies. He has also attended numerous certified training programs and international conferences in KSA, Kuwait and UAE.
Dr. Ibrahim can speak fluently in Arabic & English.
