
Dr. Ahmed Kaabneh, a highly experienced interventional radiologist in Abu Dhabi, embarked on his medical journey with GCSE at Bellerbys College, Brighton, United Kingdom, in 1995. He completed MBChB in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Edinburgh, UK, in 2002. As a radiology consultant in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Ahmed brings extensive expertise in interventional procedures. He underwent specialist training in the United Kingdom and completed formal training as an interventional radiology doctor at the Northern Deanery. In 2012, he obtained the fellowship exam from the Royal College of Radiologists and was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in interventional radiology specialist in 2014.
Dr. Ahmed had worked as a certified radiology consultant at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, UK. During this time, he routinely performed many lifesaving vascular and non-vascular interventional radiological procedures, being the lead consultant in several procedures, such as aortic intervention, Gynae intervention, interventional vascular radiology trauma lead, peripheral angioplasty and stenting, dialysis fistula angioplasty and salvage, hepatobiliary interventions, embolization procedures, diagnostic vascular and non-vascular ultrasonography with contrast, and ultrasound and CT-guided cytology aspiration and biopsy and drainage procedures in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. Ahmed has numerous publications in the field of interventional radiology and has presented at various conferences. In addition to his clinical excellence, he remains actively involved in teaching as a Trainer and Proctor, contributing to the advancement of knowledge as a leading interventional radiology doctor in Abu Dhabi.
