Dr. Abraar Sheriff Mohammed is a certified specialist in Paediatrics and Paediatric critical care. He completed his Paediatric residency in the best medical institute in India (All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi). After his post-graduation, he worked as a Paediatrician for three years. Subsequently, he underwent fellowship training in Paediatric Critical Care at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Puducherry.
Before moving to the U.A.E, Dr. Abraar worked as an Assistant Professor at P.S.G. Institute of Medical Science & Research, Coimbatore.
Dr. Abraar has experience in managing children with critical illnesses, including severe respiratory infections, asthma, septic shock, heart failure, status epilepticus, acute liver failure, acute renal failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, oncological emergency, poisoning, Paediatric trauma, post-operative care, and other Paediatric emergencies. He is skilled in performing invasive procedures, including intubation, central venous access, arterial line insertion, PICC line insertion, thoracostomy tube insertion, peritoneal dialysis catheter, and hemodialysis catheter placement.
