Dr. Abhishek Rathi is Canada and India trained Specialist Radiologist with 10 years of experience in Radiology. His expertise includes conventional radiographs, ultrasound, Doppler, CT, MRI and has rich experience in non-vascular image guided biopsies, drainage procedures and catheter insertions. He completed MBBS from the prestigious TNMC-Nair hospital, Mumbai and post-graduation from LTMMC-Sion hospital, Mumbai - a University accredited teaching institute with 1462 bedded tertiary care hospital, one of the largest trauma center in India.

Dr. Rathi completed further training in DNB Radiology (National Board of Examinations, Delhi). During this period, he gained further experience in Neuroradiology, women imaging and organ transplant imaging.

He has worked as Assistant Professor at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College, Mayo Hospital, Nagpur, India where he trained budding radiologists. Besides, he has worked in the capacity of consultant in various hospitals and diagnostic centers in India. Before moving to UAE, he worked at Saint Michael’s hospital, University of Toronto, Canada in the department of Cardiothoracic Imaging. Here he gained specialization in Coronary CT, Cardiac MRI, TAVI scans, whole body CT and MR angiograms and Chest CT scans.

Dr. Rathi has several publications in National and International peer reviewed journals to his credit. He has presented papers in multiple conferences and has given talks and lectures in multiple National and International conferences. He has won several academic prizes – most prominent being second prize in National Radiology quiz at Annual Radiology conference, India (2013). He has also received several scholarships – most prominent amongst them being JRD TATA scholarship for excellence in Medical school, which he received three times (2004-2008) and JN TATA scholarship for higher education of Indians abroad (2016).

He is proficient in English, Hindi, Marathi and Marwadi.
