Dr. Fady Gerges is a Cardiovascular imaging Specialist and Clinical Cardiologist. His main areas of interests are Transthoracic and Trans-esophageal Echocardiography and clinical Cardiology.



He graduated in 2003 from faculty of medicine, Suez Canal university in Egypt, after which he obtained his Master degree of cardiology in 2008, followed by another Master degree and fellowship in Critical care medicine in 2012.



He has various publications as a first Author in many prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals as European heart journal. He is an international speaker in various International Cardiology congresses as the annual congress of Euro-Echo in Europe and International academy of cardiology in Turkey. He is a Reviewer in international peer-reviewed journals in both imaging and interventional cardiology.



He participated as an investigator in various international registries and studies as the European registry of Peripartum cardiomyopathy incidence and the European registry of Valvular heart diseases incidence in pregnant women.



He received advanced training in Trans-esophageal Echocardiography in Papworth hospital, Cambridge, UK in 2015. He became accredited with the European Board of Echocardiography from Barcelona in 2017. He obtained his level 1 and level 2 certification for the board of Cardiovascular CT from Society of Cardiovascular CT in UK in 2018.



He was elected as the President of the medical Board of International young academy of cardiology, a non-profit medical association dedicated to cardiology projects, clinical trials and researches that was held in Northern Cyprus and Turkey in September 2019.
