Dr. Ahmed Abd Elmotalib has obtained his M.B.B.Ch. from the Faculty of Medicine Assiut, Egypt in 2003. He later obtained his Master’s Degree from the same institution in 2008. Dr. Ahmed also has European Diploma in Anaesthesia and ICU (EDAIC) 2016, Fellowship of College of Anaesthetist IRLAND  (FCAI) 2017, Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia from Montpellier University 2016 and European Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia (EDRA) 2018.



Dr. Ahmed has over 11 years of experience as an Anaesthetist. He started his professional journey as a House Office at the Assiut University Hospital in 2004. He did his Residency of Anaesthesia and ICU at the same institution from 2005 to 2008. In 2008, he joined Ministry of Health in Egypt as a Specialist in Anaesthesia and ICU. Then prior to joining NMC Healthcare, Dr. Ahmed was an Anaesthesia & ICU Registrar at the Ministry of Health in Kuwait.



Dr. Ahmed has conducted research on management of organophosphorus poisoning patients. He is interested in ultrasound sound guide regional Anaesthesia and Neuraxial Anaesthesia.



Dr. Ahmed is fluent in English and Arabic.
