Dr. Ahmed obtained his Medical Degree from BENHA University Medical College, Egypt in 2001 with honors, before pursuing his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck surgery at BENHA University Hospitals.

He later completed his Master Degree in Otorhinolaryngology in 2006 and worked as a Specialist Otorhinolaryngology at BENHA University Hospitals. In 2013, he completed his Doctorate in Otorhinolaryngology and worked as ENT Lecturer at BENHA Medical College, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Prior to joining NMC, Dr. Ahmed worked as Consultant in ENT Department BENHA University Hospitals between 2013 to 2015. He is a member of numerous medical societies.Dr. Ahmed performs procedures like Endoscopic Tympanoplasty using artificial fascia graft with no skin incisions, Endoscopic operations of the nose and paranasal sinuses for treatment of Chronic Sinusitis and Sinonasal Polyposis, Surgery of the nasal septum and the nasal concha surgery, Management of nasal bone fractures, Endoscopic examinations and surgery of the larynx due to hoarseness, vocal cord polyps and papilloma surgery, Myringotomy and insertion of Tympanostomy tubes for treatment of fluid behind the ear drums, Microscopic Tympanoplasty and mastoid surgery, Removal of the tonsils and adenoids in both adults and pediatrics using radiofrequency as well as traditional techniques.
