Re: My Experience with You (ie. Dr. Ravichandran Subbaraj), NMC Day Surgery Centre Abu Dhabi Before it is too late, let me record my experience. I sustained multiple fracture in my left leg, around the ankle. I was operated by you on July 19, 2016.
You are a great human being full of positive energy to relate with your patient(s). I have interacted with many doctors in the UAE, Korea and India for different reasons, I found you amongst few best doctors who possess competencies such as empathy, interpersonal relationships skills and the knack of getting into the psyche of the patients to understand & feel his/her pain (both physiological and psychological) as your own. Such a kind of skill set differentiate between “good” and “excellent” medical practitioners. To me this is an art which does not come from “knowledge of the discipline of medicine” but through “application of that knowledge into the socio-psychological context of the patients”. You know, such a kind persona possessed by you make both “patient” and “attendants” safe and solid in the hands of a doctor of your caliber. Your way of understanding and relating with both “patient” and “dependents” are praiseworthy. The “knowledge of medicine” helps one to enter into a hospital but handling the pain, concerns, and the likes of the patient in emotionally intelligent manner make you a start performer in the context of hospital organization and you possess it in plenty.
Please allow me to note down my experience of being nursed by your assistant – Ms. Sona. She is an excellent human being who is great at understanding the psyche of the patient(s). She would always treat her patient as someone who is her family member(s). She is excellent in the application of the discipline of nursing with patients coming from across culture. She is your great asset and helping hands. If I am correct, your assistant can be a great practitioner of knowledge if you are an excellent leader who always have emotional connect with his/her people.
Wishing you the very best and I am sure that the patient(s) treated by you would always place you on the pedestal and spread excellent words about you in the community. You will be a great resource for helping train other medical practitioners at workplace. I am sure that the HR Department at your organization would have found such a great talent that you have.
