Dr. Varnika Minhas is a Specialist Anaesthesiologist with almost 5 years of experience. She completed her MBBS and medical internship from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi, India in 2011. After completing her graduation, she joined University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi, India for her post-graduation in the field of Anaesthesia, Pain Medicine and Critical Care and received her MD degree in 2016.
Following her post graduation, she started her Senior Residency in Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Delhi in 2016, and later in 2017 worked in the Department of Oncoanaesthesia and Palliative Medicine in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, IRCH centre of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi where she got elaborate training in the field of Onco- surgical Anaesthesia as well as chronic pain management of cancer patients. In 2019 she joined the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, India to gain further experience of all other disciplines including high risk obstetrics, paediatrics, orthopaedics, bariatric, robotic, geriatric and ENT surgeries and completed her Senior Residency there.
She joined as Specialist in Liver Transplant Anaesthesia and Critical Care Department at Manipal Hospital, Delhi, India in 2020 where she got experience in the perioperative care of liver transplant patients. In addition to the liver transplant patients, she continued working in all other surgical disciplines and non-operating room Anaesthesia services.
She has been actively involved in the academics and training of undergraduates and junior residents during her medical journey.
Dr. Varnika is AHA certified ACLS provider and life member of Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists. She speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi.
